Ready or Not the BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe is Coming

If you've been catching up on news of our favorite Bavarian automaker via our BMW of Bakersfield blog, you know we have a couple of questions to answer about the 2015 BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe:

1. On Nov. 12, 2013, we said that the X4 was prepping for its debut at the Geneva Motor Show which is going on now. We received the announcement at the Switzerland event, but we wanted to also pass along that its world debut will actually be at the New York Auto Show in April.
2. A month later on Dec. 9, we speculated whether or not BMW would offer an M Performance package. We're happy to announce that this is true!

Now that we have those two out of the way, here are some details. The X4, the smaller sibling to its successful brother, the X6, shares the aggressive nature as the X6, but it maintains its own distinctive character.

The X4 is based on the same underpinnings as the X3, but it sits 1.5-inches lower and 0.6-inches longer than the X3, testimony of its sportier stance.

BMW of Bakersfield Discusses 2 Series Coupe

If you've been following BMW news, you've undoubtedly heard about the new BMW 2 Series Coupe. All of us here at BMW of Bakersfield are extremely excited about this new BMW model, and would like to discuss some of the most exciting features with you today on our blog.

Coming in three Coupe variants depending on engine choice, the 2 series will offer plenty of options for BMW drivers in the greater Bakersfield, McFarland, Delano, and Lamont areas. One option features a two-liter, direct injection, in-line four-cylinder, four-valve engine with 184hp and 190 lb.ft or torque. On the other end is the M235i, six-cylinder, four-valve three-liter engine with 326 hp and 331 lb.ft of torque. A diesel option will also be offered.
